Biennale, Moscow, September 1-10 / August 31, 2004 / 13:47
The moment we've all been waiting for has finally arrived!
“Golden Bee 6”, Moscow International Biennale of Graphic Design, will take place September 1-10, Central Artists Hall, Moscow.
“Golden Bee” is an international exhibition, an impressive contest and a professional festival for graphic designers from all over the world. The first Bienalle was held back in 1992. The last took place in 2000. After that it was suspended and nobody knew whether we'd see its yellow rhombic logo again.
This year Serge Serov, President of Biennale, supported by several Moscow design agencies and Expo-Park company has managed to revive the festival.
The jury and entry categories
This year's entry categories include: “Posters”, “Typography”, “Student Design” and “Antiterror”. The jury consists of legendary graphic designers from 5 countries: Werner Jeker (Switzerland), Daniela Haufe—Detlef Fiedler, “Cyan” (Germany), Neville Brody (UK), Oleg Veklenko (Ukraine), Phil Risbeck (USA) and Eugeny Dobrovinsky (Russia).
Previously “Golden Bee” had Stephan Sagmeister, Keizo Matsui, Jan Rajlich Jr., Fumihiko Enokido, Alan Fletcher, Maxim Zhukov and Uwe Loesch as the members of the international jury.

Fluid & Fixed
Which approach is better: fluid or fixed? It all depends… (Using my current work as illustration.)
Designin' Outside The Box
My current web-design projects may end up as liquid layouts. At least I'd love them to.
